About the host
I’m Clint Lalonde. My love of music began somewhere in the glow of a radio dial as a young child growing up in northern Canada where radio signals from around the globe would skip through the cold night air and land in the small clock radio that sat beside my bed.
In my youth I had careers in both commercial and campus/community radio that shaped not only my ear, but also my understanding of the how music creates mood, tell stories, and connects people.
My musical tastes wander widely. Whether it’s a dusty folk tune or a rhythm from halfway across the globe, I am always listening for the threads that connect them. At heart, I am a musical explorer, sharing songs the way good radio always has: with curiosity, care, and the sense that there’s always something new worth discovering.
